William J. Wrathall is a PhD researcher at Lancaster University in collaboration with Sellafield Ltd. His research focuses on the verification of spent nuclear fuel using gamma-ray spectroscopy, with expertise in modelling and simulation using MCNP. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Physics with Astrophysics from the University of Hull (2020) and an MPhys, where he studied the formation of presolar dust in core-collapse supernovae through simulation. William also has experience as a data analyst and a secondary school science teacher.
