Taku Tanaka, M.S. (Information Science), completed the doctoral coursework for the Ph.D. program in Information Engineering at Nagoya University (2015 – 2019) and is currently a Research Fellow at the Academic Center for Computing and Media Studies, Kyoto University. His research focuses on AI‑driven anomaly detection and cyber‑physical security for nuclear safeguards and aerospace platforms. A licensed aviation pilot and certified Radiation Protection Supervisor, Tanaka has published peer‑reviewed papers on low‑power intrusion detection and GPS‑denied navigation and was elected a Full Member of Sigma Xi in 2025. At INMM25 he will present “Real‑Time Anomaly Detection in Cybersecurity: Adaptive Algorithms for Power Consumption Monitoring.”
