Adian Cook received his master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK) in 2016 with a focus in controls and automotive engineering. Prior to his master’s, Adian received his bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of the South in 2013 with a focus in biophysics and astrophysics.
He has been employed as an R&D Staff at Oak Ridge National Laboratory since 2017. Prior to joining the lab, he was a Controls Engineer at New Eagle in Ann Arbor, MI. Adian's current research interests include model-free control, hardware-in-the-loop, AI, cooperative driving, and virtual vehicle environments.
